1. Who we are

Tee Central is a disc golf tournament registration and scoring platform operated by Unofficial Solutions LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and who can see it. Questions go to support@teecentral.app.

2. What we collect

What you give us

Account. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, a password, and whether the account is a Player or a Tournament Director. Your password is stored only as a bcrypt hash — we never hold the password itself.

Profile (all optional). You can add any of the following to your player profile:

Event registration. Each time you register for an event we record the player name and email for that entry, and, where you provide them, the player number, date of birth, gender, and division pool. For PDGA-sanctioned events the player number, date of birth, and gender are required, because they determine division eligibility.

Payment records. For paid entries we store the amount paid, any amount refunded, and the Stripe checkout session and payment intent identifiers. See section 3.

Location alerts (opt-in only). If you turn on new event alerts, we store the ZIP code, the radius in miles, and how often you want to hear from us.

Tournament Directors. If you connect a payout account, we store the Stripe Connect account identifier that Stripe gives us. We do not receive or store your bank details.

Scoring and event activity. If you play in an event run on Tee Central, we store your scores, check-in status, card group, and any messages you send through the scorecard.

3. Payments

Entry fee payments are processed by Stripe. We pass Stripe the amount, the event and division name, and your email address so it can send you a receipt; Stripe collects your card details directly and returns us only the identifiers and amounts listed above. Stripe handles that data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy.

4. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

5. Who can see your information

Tournament Directors. The TD and any co-TDs of an event you enter can see your registration for it: name, email, player number unless you hide it, division, date of birth and gender where collected, payment status, and your scores.

Other players. Public event pages and results show your name, division, and scores. Your player number is shown unless you choose to hide it. Your email address, date of birth, and payment details are never shown publicly.

Service providers we use to run Tee Central.

The PDGA. We display PDGA tournament and player data under a PDGA API licence. The only personal information that flows in the other direction is your player number: if you supply one, we send that number to the PDGA API to look up your public rating. Nothing else about you is sent to them.

Legal. We may disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety.

6. Cookies

Tee Central sets one cookie: the session cookie that keeps you logged in. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies, and no third-party cookies. Clearing it simply logs you out.

7. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as you have an account, and until you ask us to delete it. Registration, payment, and scoring records for an event are kept as part of that event's record and for payment reconciliation, including after you delete your account, because the TD needs them to run and reconcile events they have already held. Server logs are kept for a short period by our hosting provider.

8. Children

Tee Central is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. Our Terms of Service require account holders to be at least 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact support@teecentral.app and we will delete it.

A parent or guardian may enter a child in an event from their own account, which means the child's name and, where the event requires it, date of birth and gender are submitted by the adult responsible for them.

9. Your choices

10. Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes, traffic to the site is encrypted in transit with TLS, and card data is handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, tell us at support@teecentral.app.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this page as the product changes, and the last updated date above will always reflect the current version.
